POLÍCIA DE TRÂNSITO REGISTA 16 MORTES POR ACIDENTES DE VIAÇÃO EM TODO O PAÍS
A Direcção de Trânsito e Segurança Rodoviária registou, de sexta-feira a domingo, 75 acidentes de viação, que causou 16 mortes e 110 feridos.
O especialista em acidentes da Direcção de Trânsito e Segurança Rodoviária (DTSR), superintendente João de Sousa, explicou que se comparado com a semana passada, houve o registo de menos quatro acidentes, menos 18 mortes e mais três feridos.
O domingo, disse, foi o dia que se registou maior número de acidentes com 27, assim como 58 feridos, ao passo que o sábado, foi o dia que se registou mais mortes, com oito.
A província de Luanda, adiantou, foi a que mais acidentes registou com 11 ocorrências, tendo causado quatro mortos e igual número de feridos, seguida por Cabinda com oito acidentes e dez feridos, ao passo que o Uíge registou sete acidentes, que resultou em seis feridos.
A polícia registou ainda 18 colisões entre automóveis e motociclos e 18 atropelamentos que causou três mortos. Foram registados 63 crimes contra segurança dos transportes com 63 detidos, sendo 59 por condução em estado de embriagues e quatro por condução perigosa.
A Direcção de Trânsito e Segurança Rodoviária aplicou 1.304 multas, apreendeu 160 viaturas e 380 motorizadas por diversas infrações ao Código de Estrada.
João de Sousa esclareceu que as mortes por acidentes de trânsito continuam a preocupar a Polícia Nacional.
