PRESIDENTE DA REPÚBLICA VIAJA PARA O ZIMBABWE
O Presidente da República, João Lourenço, segue viagem para a cidade de Harare, capital da República do Zimbabwe, esta sexta-feira, onde vai participar na 44.ª Cimeira de Chefes de Estado e de Governo da Comunidade de Desenvolvimento da África Austral, SADC.
A cimeira acontece ao longo do dia de sábado, 17 de Agosto, e será marcada pela transição na liderança do bloco regional: Angola cederá o lugar ao Zimbabwe, depois de um ano de presidência, refere um comunicado de imprensa da Presidência da República.
O Presidente cessante, João Lourenço, fará o discurso de balanço para marcar o fim do ciclo iniciado em Agosto do ano passado na 43ª Cimeira, em Luanda, e o novo timoneiro, o Presidente zimbabweano Emerson Mnangagwa, tomará também a palavra para o discurso de aceitação que deverá conter a agenda do país para os 12 meses à frente da organização regional.
