Sapalo António acusa Benedito Daniel de violar os estatutos e as competências dos organismos do partido, explicando que a diretiva do congresso foi aprovada pelo Secretariado Executivo Nacional que tem orientado o processo ao invés do Comité Nacional.
“Se todos nós do Comité Nacional sentarmos e criarmos uma comissão preparatória com pessoas idóneas, e ele ganhar, eu vou abraçá-lo e juntos vamos trabalhar, caso contrário vamos continuar nesta luta até que a justiça seja feita” finalizou.
Estas declarações foram feitas à margem da conferência de imprensa, esta terça-feira, 20 de Fevereiro, na Casa da Juventude em Viana, em reacção ao chumbo pela comissão preparatória do congresso, com realização prevista para os dias 2, 3 e 4 de Abril deste ano.
