GENERAIS “KOPELIPA” E “DINO” VÃO HOJE À AUDIÊNCIA DE JULGAMENTO
Os generais Hélder Vieira Dias Júnior “Kopelipa” e Leopoldino do Nascimento “Dino” ficam a saber, hoje, durante a leitura da acusação, as incidências dos factos de que são acusados pelo Ministério Público dos crimes de peculato, burla por defraudação, falsificação de documentos, associação criminosa, abuso de poder, branqueamento de capitais e tráfico de influências.
A audiência do julgamento agendada para as 9H30 inscreve, ainda, de acordo com o Tribunal Supremo, a retoma do processo de audição dos 38 declarantes e testemunhas, iniciado em Dezembro de 2024, mas adiado pela juiza relatora Anabela Valente.
Ao processo N° 38/2022 em que é participante o Ministério Público, representado por Lucas Ramos, estão ainda arrolados na condição de arguidos, Fernando Gomes dos Santos, Yiu Haiming e as empresas China international Found (CIF), Plansmart International Limited e Utter Right International Limited.
O grupo de advogados de defesa dos arguidos é composto por Bangula Quemba, Benja Satula e Amaral Gourgel.
O julgamento estava inicialmente marcado para Dezembro de 2024, mas foi adiado devido ao incumprimento das formalidades legais. Os arguidos e advogados foram notificados apenas cinco dias antes do início do julgamento, facto que violava o prazo previsto na lei.
A juíza relatora do processo, Anabela Valente, destacou a complexidade do caso, que conta com mais de duas mil páginas e 38 declarantes e testemunhas. Os juízes Martinho Nunes e Inácio Paixão vão intervir, também, no julgamento, na condição de auxiliares.
Entre os declarantes destacam-se o professor catedrático Carlos Feijó, antigo ministro de Estado e chefe da Casa Civil no Governo de José Eduardo dos Santos, Norberto Garcia e a actual ministra da Acção Social, Família e Promoção da Mulher, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto.
Hélder Vieira Dias “Kopelipa” foi chefe da Casa Militar da Presidência da República durante o mandato de José Eduardo dos Santos, enquanto Leopoldino do Nascimento “Dino” foi chefe do Serviço de Comunicação da Presidência.
