Os mais eruditos chamavam de “má gestão”, os técnicos falavam em “erros sistêmicos”, mas o povão, esse, foi directo ao ponto: bar aberto!
E que bar! Começou com uns “modestos” 7 bilhões desviados na AGT, um valor até singelo para quem conhece a escala industrial do desvio de fundos. Mas, como a gula não conhece limites, a turma do INAGBE olhou para a factura e disse: “Triplica essa conta aí!” Resultado? 21
bilhões voaram sem deixar rastros. O ambiente, esse, foi pilhado com tanta perícia que o Ministério virou um cenário de filme pós-apocalíptico. Afinal, para que serve um Ministério do Ambiente se o ambiente já está todo degradado?
Os artistas, coitados, pensavam que iam molhar o bico nessa cascata de dinheiro. Mas, azar dos azares, a UNAC tinha um cofre-forte… que mais parecia um cofre-fraco. Para eles, só sobraram uns trocados: míseros 22 milhões. “Míseros”, claro, quando comparados à escala industrial da pilhagem dos outros.
No meio desse frenesi financeiro, surge a figura do Canalizador da República. Dizem que é tanto vazamento que ele já não sabe onde enfiar a chave de fenda. Fecha aqui, abre acolá, mas a pressão da conduta é tanta que, quando se tapa um furo, rebentam três do outro lado. Um desafio digno de Tetris financeiro.
E não pensem que falta criatividade para justificar o descalabro. Tem explicação para todos os gostos: “o sistema precisa de reformas”, “há agentes infiltrados a sabotar o progresso”, “a culpa é da crise internacional”. Mas a verdade é que, nesta terra, a fila anda e os bolsos incham.
Deus queira que não, mas, se a coisa continuar assim, não estamos longe de uma desgraça generalizada. Porque quando o bar está sempre aberto e os canalizadores não conseguem conter os vazamentos, chega uma hora em que o tanque seca. E aí, meus amigos, não haverá pinga para mais ninguém.
