JORNALISMO ANGOLANO DE LUTO: FALECEU JORNALISTA EMÍDIO FERNANDO
O jornalista e director da Rádio Essencial, Emídio Fernando, faleceu, na noite desta quarta-feira, vítima de doença, em Lisboa.
A informação foi avançada num um comunicado divulgado pela GEM Angola Global Media, a empresa proprietária da Rádio Essencial.
Emídio Fernando nasceu no município de Sales, no Cuanza Sul, em 1965.
Passou parte da infância em Portugal onde trabalhou e se destacou em órgãos de Comunicação Social lusos, nomeadamente, o Jornal semanário Tal & Qual, onde desempenhou a função de director e a TSF Rádio Notícias.
Em Angola, desempenhou a função de editor do Jornal Nova Gazeta e, em 2017, assumiu a direcção da Rádio Essencial.
Além de jornalista, Emídio era, ainda, historiador e escritor.
