JOÃO LOURENÇO RECEBE REPRESENTANTES PARA PAZ NO LESTE DA RDC
O Chefe de Estado, João Lourenço, recebeu, hoje, a ministra de Estado e dos Negócios Estrangeiros, da Cooperação Internacional e Francofonia da República Democrática do Congo, Thérèse Wagner, e o ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Ruanda, Olivier Nduhungirehe.
Segundo a Presidência da República, os dois diplomatas estão em Luanda para a reunião anunciada que visa a procura de caminhos para a paz e a concórdia nas relações entre o Congo Democrático e o vizinho Ruanda, sob a mediação de Angola.
A instabilidade militar no Leste da RDC é a causa do distanciamento entre Kinshasa e Kigali, tendo Angola, na pessoa do Presidente João Lourenço, mandato da União Africana para facilitar o processo de pacificação daquela região.
