CONSELHO DAS IGREJAS CRISTÃS DE ANGOLA JUNTA-SE À CAMPANHA DO CNJ.
Foi na manhã de Sábado, 27 de Abril, que o Secretário Geral do Conselho das Igrejas Cristãs de Angola (CICA), garantiu total apoio da sua organização religiosa à campanha de recolha de donativos que o Conselho Nacional de Juventude (CNJ), tem levado a cabo para ajudar os sinistrados das chuvas na Província do Bengo.
Reverendo Vladimir Agostinho prometeu mover todas as forças possíveis para que os objectivos da campanha sejam cumpridos “nós o CICA, vamos apelar à todas as Igrejas Cristãs a sensibilizarem nos cultos para que os irmãos pratiquem aquilo que a bíblia nos ensina, chorar com os que choram e sorrir com os que estão a sorrir” garantiu.
Isaías Kalunga, Presidente do CNJ, ao proferir palavras de circunstâncias para abrir o encontro, onde enfatizou do papel preponderante que as igrejas têm na construção de uma sociedade melhor, realçou que “as igrejas sempre foram bases de apoio para o desenvolvimento das sociedades, nessa altura que os nossos irmãos na província do Bengo vivem momentos de calamidades, estamos aqui a pedir o apoio das Igrejas para acudirmos as mais de quatro mil famílias que estão a viver dias difíceis pelos danos causados pelas chuvas” concluiu.
O Vice Governador da Província do Bengo para o Sector Político, Social e Econômico José Francisco Bartolomeu, apelou a sensibilidade das Igrejas, tendo em conta que as famílias sinistradas maior parte, se não todas são cristãs.
O encontro aconteceu na tenda de fronte ao campo Manuel Berenguel da RNA, e contou com a presença de vários líderes juvenis, e membros de direcção do Conselho Nacional de Juventude, e provinciais de Luanda e Bengo.
